Semiconductor Sales Soar 18.7% Globally in July

The Semiconductor Industry Association reported that global semiconductor sales reached $51.3 billion in July 2024, up 18.7% from July 2023 and 2.7% from June 2024. The Americas led the growth with a 40.1% year-to-year increase, followed by China (19.5%) and Asia Pacific/All Other (16.7%). Month-to-month sales also rose for the fourth consecutive month, driven by strong performance in the Americas (4.3%), Asia Pacific/All Other (3.9%), and Japan (3.3%). However, Europe saw a decline, with year-to-year sales down 12.0%.
