Who are we looking for?

Orbit & Skyline is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Process Engineer – Thin Film Deposition to support semiconductor fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience operating advanced deposition tools within a cleanroom environment and demonstrate strong analytical capability in process execution and monitoring. As a collaborative team member, the candidate will support thin-film process stability, contribute to yield improvement, and ensure precision in device fabrication workflows. We value professionals who combine technical expertise with structured documentation practices and the ability to support training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Thin Film Deposition tools including E-beam Evaporation and Sputtering systems.
• Execute deposition processes for dielectric and metal films used in semiconductor device fabrication.
• Support wafer processing workflows, ensuring compliance with cleanroom standards and safety protocols.
• Monitor process parameters such as film thickness, uniformity, and deposition rates.
• Assist in troubleshooting process deviations and support root cause analysis activities.
• Collaborate with equipment, process integration, and quality teams to ensure stable fabrication operations.
• Maintain accurate process logs, documentation, and SOP compliance records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization and yield enhancement.
• Contribute to technical training and knowledge-sharing activities within the fabrication team.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor cleanroom environments, specifically in Thin Film Deposition processes.
• Practical exposure to deposition tools such as E-beam Evaporation, Sputtering, or PVD systems.
• Strong understanding of dielectric and metal film deposition, wafer handling, and cleanroom protocols.
• Experience supporting thin-film process execution, tool operation, and fabrication workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with attention to process precision.
• Ability to support technical training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in high-accuracy manufacturing environments.
