Who are we looking for?

Orbit & Skyline is seeking a technically strong and detail-driven Process Engineer - Epitaxy (MBE) to support advanced semiconductor fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in epitaxial growth operations within a cleanroom environment and demonstrate strong analytical capability in process monitoring and optimization. As a collaborative professional, the candidate will support R&D initiatives, ensure process stability, and contribute to continuous improvement in epitaxial manufacturing workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) processes for precise thin-film and epitaxial layer growth.
• Support wafer preparation, material loading, process recipe execution, and growth parameter monitoring.
• Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and epitaxy process standards.
• Monitor key process parameters including temperature, deposition rate, and material uniformity.
• Assist in troubleshooting process deviations and support root cause analysis for growth defects.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and integration teams to support advanced material development and process optimization.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, logs, and quality compliance records.
• Support training initiatives and contribute to SOP development and technical knowledge sharing.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability and yield performance.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in semiconductor cleanroom environments, specifically in Epitaxial Growth Processes such as Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE).
• Strong understanding of thin-film growth principles, material deposition techniques, and wafer handling protocols.
• Exposure to process monitoring, parameter control, and quality assurance practices in microfabrication environments.
• Experience in laboratory operations, quality control, or semiconductor R&D activities.
• Ability to support technical training programs, SOP development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in high-precision manufacturing environments.
