Who are we looking for?

  • Own Lithography process engineering for 300 mm semiconductor manufacturing, including process development, optimization, and sustenance.
  • Lead process start-up, qualification, and production release, ensuring compliance with best known methods (BKMs) and fab standards.
  • Define and execute tool acceptance, qualification, release, and control strategies for Photo equipment to ensure stable and repeatable performance.
  • Plan and run short loops, first-silicon trials, and learning cycles to improve process capability and yield improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support equipment integration, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize photolithography processes (resist coat, exposure, bake, develop) to meet CD and pattern targets.
  • Define and maintain process windows using dose–focus studies and perform DOE to resolve Photo process issues.
  • Monitor key metrics such as CD uniformity, overlay, and defect density using SPC.
  • Sustain lithography equipment performance including scanners from Canon Inc.
  • Analyze inspection and metrology data to detect process excursions from Photo process steps.
  • Investigate lithography defects and implement corrective actions to improve yield.
  • Collaborate with integration, etch, and deposition teams to ensure accurate pattern transfer.
  • Support process qualification, tool matching, and documentation for stable high-volume manufacturing.

Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Skills:

  • M.Tech/M.S./B.Tech/B.E
  • 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor photolithography processes including resist coating, exposure, baking, and development.
  • Knowledge of lithography equipment and exposure tools from vendors such as Canon Inc.
  • Experience with process control techniques including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Familiarity with metrology and inspection tools for CD analysis.
  • Ability to analyze process data using engineering tools such as JMP, Python, MATLAB, or similar statistical software.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills for yield and defect reduction.
  • Ability to work in semiconductor cleanroom environments and collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
