We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Semiconductor Equipment Engineer with deep expertise in Dry Etch tools, with a strong focus on advanced troubleshooting and tool recovery in a high-volume fab environment.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in one or more of the following toolsets: Axcelis Fusion, LAM 2300 KIYO, Tel Unity SCCM ME, SPTS Rapier, AMAT Centura DPS, AMAT Centura MXP+, LAM 4400/4500/9600
The candidate must be capable of working independently, taking full ownership of tool issues and driving fast and effective resolution of complex equipment problems.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor Dry Etch equipment in high-volume fabs.
- Hands-on experience in tools like Axcelis Fusion, LAM 2300 KIYO, Tel Unity SCCM ME, SPTS Rapier, AMAT Centura DPS, AMAT Centura MXP+, LAM 4400/4500/9600.
- Strong expertise in equipment troubleshooting and fast recovery in production environment.
- Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
- Good understanding of SPC/FDC systems, alarms, and process limits.
- Troubleshoot issues related to plasma, RF, vacuum, gas delivery, and hardware subsystems.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Maximize tool uptime, MTBF, and reduce MTTR.
- Good knowledge of mainframe and subsystems like pumps, RF generators, matching network, ESC, MFCs, etc.
- Ability to work independently and handle critical tool issues.
Eligibility Criteria
Mandatory Skills:
- 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fab equipment maintenance is required.
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and a good team player.
- Good computer knowledge, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
Preferred Skills
