Who are we looking for?
Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a highly skilled “Reliability Engineer” with experience in performing Reliability Allocations, Reliability Prediction, Reliability Modelling, and Reliability Demonstration Test plans.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform Design for Reliability (DFR) for New/Existing products during the Product Development Life Cycle to determine the design weaknesses.
- Perform Reliability Prediction based on the Parts Stress and Parts Count method.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to understand the system and incorporate series/parallel configuration into the Reliability Block Diagram (RBD).
- Perform Root cause analysis, 8D’s, Fishbone, Scatter plot diagram etc.
- Prepare Reliability Test plan (RDT/HALT/ALT) for new and existing products.
- Perform Reliability Growth Testing by collecting data from different sources and generating meaningful Reliability reports.
- Perform automation, analytics and generate reports as per project requirements.
- Flexible enough to engage on multiple projects based on customer requirements.
- Work with cross-functional team as well as global engineering team for designing and maintaining the reliability driven new product and/or existing product requirement.
- Bachelor’s in engineering with 6 to 10 years of experience in Reliability Engineering.
- Comfortable working with US-based timings
- Bachelor’s in engineering with 6 to 10 years of experience in Reliability Engineering.
- Comfortable working with US-based timings Mandatory Skills:
- Reliability Allocations, Reliability Prediction, Reliability Modelling, Reliability Demonstration Test plan.
- Field/Test Data Analysis and interpretation in advance Excel
- Experience in performing Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Weibull Analysis.
- Incorporate DFR into new/sustaining products.
- Any one Reliability Software – Reliasoft/PTC/RAM Commander
- Power BI, Advance Excel (VBA), Minitab Good to have:
