Who are we looking for?
Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboard a highly skilled "Electronics/Electrical Engineer" with good understanding of various electronics/electrical components. The candidate will be part of a team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions to customers while also contributing to the development of Indian semiconductor ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Electrical/Electro-mechanical parts obsolescence and part lifecycle management.
- Work on electronics components obsolescence to qualify form, fit and functional replacements and release in system along with the documentation.
- End to end ownership: Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team comprising mechanical, software, system, and process engineering (in different geographies) to develop and qualify engineering solutions.
- Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout the different phases of design and development.
Eligibility Criteria
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics with experience of 2-4 years.
- Master's degree is preferred with experience of 0-2 years.
- Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.
Mandatory Skills:
- Understanding of various electronic/electrical components.
- Able to understand and work on schematics/system interconnects.
- Able to select and recommend components depending upon application and circuit requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Critical/ system level thinking.
- Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Good to have:
- Exposure of working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system.
- Experience in working on electronic components obsolescence.
- Sound knowledge of pneumatic circuits, Mass flow controllers and valves.
- Hands on experience of AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
- Hands on experience of testing electronics component- bench level test and system level test.
